Health Professions Application Meeting

-

Location: Jordan Hall of Science, Room 101 & 105 (View on map )

Health Professions offer various career choices that provide engaging challenges and rewarding service opportunities. Preparation for admission to a Health Profession school should start as soon as your undergraduate education begins. Professional schools will take a comprehensive view of your undergraduate experience, not only your grades and majors but also your research, clinical experience, activities, behavior, and summer commitments. The Center for Health Sciences Advising is available to help you through the process from beginning to end. The Center can help you understand what professional schools are looking for, how to navigate your undergraduate career, and how to compile a successful application to the school of your choice.

This workshop, led by The Center's faculty advisors and associate deans, offers an overview of the application cycle and is designed for students and their parents to attend together during JPW weekend. This event is open to JPW participants from any college or school across the University. Space is limited and doors will be closed upon reaching room capacity, so plan to arrive early.
