Frequently Asked Questions

What is Junior Parents Weekend?

Junior Parents Weekend (JPW) is an annual celebration with a weekend of diverse events to give families a taste of the Notre Dame student experience.

Who plans JPW?

JPW is planned by student members of the junior class including two Co-Chairs as well as several committee members with oversight from their Student Activities Office staff advisor.

Who is invited to JPW?

All current juniors, fourth year Architecture students, and seniors who studied abroad in the Spring of their junior year are invited to attend JPW.

When will registration go on sale?

Registration for JPW 2024 is now open. Juniors are able to register up to three (3) people total, one (1) student and up to two (2) parents or guardians. Please note, based on capacity for various events, availability is limited and we can not guarantee registration for every family and/or member of the Junior class. Space will be provided on a first come first serve basis, so we recommend registering for the weekend sooner rather than later. Registration will be open until availability runs out or February 1, 2024, whichever comes first; purchases made after January 15, 2024, will be charged an additional $20 fee per registration.

What is included in the cost of registration?

Registration for JPW24 is all inclusive; one (1) paid registration provides entrance for one (1) individual to all JPW24 events. All costs associated with this year's event cover the overall operations of these events.
